Revenge of the Savage Planet: Supply Crate Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Supply Crates in Revenge of the Savage Planet are the 44 locked containers holding the game's wardrobe and several of its most important gear upgrades — unlike ordinary loot boxes, nearly every one guards its contents behind a puzzle, a fight, or a traversal gate.

All 44 Crate locations, each with its specific unlock method, are visible and ready to be tracked on our Revenge of the Savage Planet interactive maps.

Make the Map Do the Work: Fancy Nancy

Before hunting crates manually, buy The 'Fancy Nancy' Equipment Tagger suit upgrade at the Habitat printer — it reveals pinkish Supply Crate icons on the map, plus per-region counts when hovering over any zone in the Journal.

Combined with the interactive map's unlock notes, it turns the hunt from wandering into a checklist.

What's Actually Inside

Two reward tracks share the crates.

  • Outfits: of the game's 14 outfits, five are available by default and nine come exclusively from Supply Crates — pieces like the Industrial Cleaner and Sentai sets — feeding the Interstellar Fashionista Mission and its matching achievement.

  • Story gear: a handful of crates carry mandatory equipment — the Stomp Booster (hacked terminal at the Zenethian Crash Site), the Magnetic Fork (earned mid-Wormzilla fight in Caves of Miranyth), the Franx Underwater Scooter (tunnel at Chikit's Pools), and the Max Air Filter (cable-switch puzzle at Bilodeau's Floating Isle).

Note that the colour schemes for all this clothing come from researching Capturable Creatures, not from crates.

Every Crate Is a Small Puzzle

The 44 unlock methods fall into recognisable families:

  • Follow the cables and shoot the purple switches or Vyper Power Panels they lead to (Slarragon Forest has several)
  • Hack and hold, defending inside the red circle while the terminal works (Deadwood Gulch's hilltop crate)

  • Feed the local flora — Kiwi Slugs into the Mandragrove Maw at Cliffs of Abaddoon, or the northern Baobab Maw at Savannah Lake to drain the pond

  • Clear the area of hostiles before the lid releases

  • Melt, smash, or stomp through amber-sealed Reinforced Floor Access Ports with the Blight Bomb Stabilizer.

The Two Latest Gates in the Game

Two crates rank as the last collectibles most players touch. The tar-pit crate at Pillars of Turpitude needs the Remote Drone Controller, which only unlocks near the end of the campaign.

And the iced-over crate at Frip's Big Chill demands genuine logistics: unlock the Triple Thrusters and Proton Tether Launcher, travel through the transition tunnel to Brrrts Frozen Grotto, fill the Goo Ingestor with lava, then carry it back to melt the ice.

Raccoon Logic saved the busywork for the fashion-committed.
